Keep frozen. Serving Suggestions: Delicious as an easy side dish, tossed with a little butter or simply seasoned to taste. Also makes a flavorful addition to soups, stews, sautes, and casseroles. Heating: Microwave: 1. Place frozen vegetables in a microwave-safe 1-1/2 quart casserole dish. 2. Add 2 tablespoons water and cover. 3. Heat on high for 5-1/2 to 7-1/2 minutes (For food safety and best quality, cook to a temperature of 160 degrees F. Cooking times may vary depending on power of microwave and type of container used. To retain highest quality and texture, do not overcook.), stirring halfway through cooking time. 4. Let stand 1 minute before serving. Stove Top: 1. Bring 1/4 cup water to a boil in 3-quart saucepan. 2. Place frozen vegetables in boiling water. Cover and boil 7-8 minutes (For food safety and best quality, cook to a temperature of 160 degrees F. Cooking times may vary depending on power of microwave and type of container used. To retain highest quality and texture, do not overcook.). 3. Drain and serve. Keep frozen until ready to use.
