Nova snacks can be used on omelettes, salads, quiches and more. Note that this product contains tid-bits of smoked salmon. Astaxanthin is a carotenoid used in the feed of farm raised Atlantic Salzmon; it is in the same family as vitamin A. Carotenoids are part of the natural diet consumed by salmon in the wild and give salmon its distinctive color.
